Clip Squeezer is a small desktop utility for people who have a video-file problem, not a video-editing project. Add a file and choose one of four actions: make it smaller, convert it to MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, or GIF, trim the beginning and end, or save its audio as the original stream, MP3, or M4A.
The interface replaces codec, container, bitrate, and command-line decisions with plain-language choices. Compatible format changes use fast stream copying without quality loss; other conversions use practical fallback formats. Trims prioritize accurate boundaries, and compression offers simple quality, resolution, and compatibility options.
Clip Squeezer is free and open source for Windows and macOS. It works entirely on the user’s computer, requires no account or internet connection, includes no telemetry or advertising, never uploads media, and writes every result to a new file.
