How to trim a video

Steps

1. 1

   Add a video and select Trim.

2. 2

   Play or scrub to find the new beginning and end.

3. 3

   Drag the handles or edit the timestamps.

4. 4

   Preview around each boundary.

5. 5

   Save the new trimmed video.

What to expect

• Drag the handles for a quick cut, or type times when you know the exact points.
• Preview just before and after each boundary so you do not clip the first or last word.
• The saved section is rebuilt to make the cut accurate, so a long trim may take some time.

Good to know

• Clip Squeezer re-encodes for accurate boundaries.
• The original remains untouched.
